Visit the Elms
At the Elms, our doors are open to you. Stop in during one of our scheduled open houses, where you will have the chance to meet faculty, staff, and students and tour our natural 33-acre campus. While here, you will see classrooms, explore the history and philosophy of our school, and learn what an Elms education is all about!
Please plan to join us for our all-campus Open House on Sunday, March 25, from 12 to 2 p.m. Tour our campus, visit classrooms, talk with teachers, and more! All are welcome!
Registration for an open house is not mandatory but helpful as we plan the event. See registration form below.
Our placement test is administered to incoming freshman, and the test results are used to help place students into the appropriate level of classes (college-prep and/or honors). An incoming freshman applying at The Elms must take our placement test. There is a $20 test fee. Schedule a time using the form below or by contacting our Admissions Director Melanie Drouin at 330.867.0918.
Kindergarten screening is held for parents considering kindergarten at the Elms. If you have not already registered your child for kindergarten, you may do so at the screening. An adult must accompany your child for the entire screening process, which consists of coordination and academic checks.
The screening for new families will be held on Wednesday, April 11, from 8:30-11 a.m. in the lower school gym. Registration is required. See form below.
You will also receive information about the Elms and the kindergarten program. Miss Yee will also be present to answer any questions you may have.
Mommy & Me
Mommy & Me is your chance to experience the Elms preschool and kindergarten programs. You and your child will be in an Elms classroom, experience some of the typical daily activities and learn from an experienced Elms teacher. Seeing is believing: if you are at all unsure if the Elms might be right for your child and family, you’ll have your answer after this program!
Mommy & Me will be offered at our lower school on Friday, March 23, from 8:30-11 a.m. Registration is required. See form below.
