Raise the Roof Campaign

The current high school roof at Our Lady of the Elms is over fifty years old. We have raised funds and tapped into our operating budget to initiate Phase I of the roof renovation project in the summer of 2010. Phase I replaced the roof protecting the commons area. Phase II will replace a much larger portion of the roof over the academic wing.
The simple purpose of this project and our request is to protect the structural integrity and academic foundation of OLE by putting a sound roof over the heads of our students, faculty and staff. A roof renovation may seem remarkably dull in its appeal. Yet, it’s a project we need to complete and an expense that we need to cover.
We are appealing to a wide range of support resources for the roof replacement project. No single donor, corporation or foundation can be expected to contribute the entire cost of this roof. Just as a roof is replaced shingle by shingle, the support for this project is being assembled piece by piece, dollar by dollar. Every dollar counts - including yours. You have a chance to make an even larger impact at Our Lady of the Elms through a generous gift. Help us Raise the Roof today!
The Lehner Family Foundation made a very generous gift of $100,000 towards the Raise the Roof campaign. They have also posed a challenge to the Elms community.
The Lehner Family Foundation will match any gift made to the Raise the Roof campaign - up to $100,000. This means that any gift you make will be doubled - matched dollar for dollar - up to $100,000.
