Visit the Elms
At the Elms, our doors are open to you. Stop in during one of our all-school Open Houses, where you will have the chance to meet faculty, staff, and students and tour our park-like 33-acre campus. While here, you will see classrooms, explore the history and philosophy of our school, and learn what an Elms education is all about!
Sunday, April 7, 2019, 12-2 p.m.
Registration for an open house is not mandatory but helpful as we plan the event. See registration form below.
Spend the day as an Elms girl! When you shadow an Elms student, you attend classes and meet potential classmates. Your Shadow Day affords you an inside look at everything the Elms has to offer. Get the low-down from students and faculty members. You can arrange to shadow for a whole day or half a day.
To offer a quality shadow experience, we limit the number of guests per day. Reservations are required at least one week in advance. Fill out our registration form below and you will be contacted within two business days to confirm.
Our placement test is administered to incoming freshman, and the test results are used to help place students into the appropriate level of classes (college-prep and/or honors). An incoming freshman applying at The Elms must take our placement test. There is a $20 test fee. To register for a placement test, contact Admissions Director Melanie Drouin.
Gearing Up for Kindergarten
If your child's Pre-School years are coming to an end, your thoughts are probably turning toward Kindergarten. With that come many mixed emotions, for both you and your child. Kindergarten can set the stage for a child’s entire school career, which is both exciting and daunting. To help prepare your child for the next stage in life, it’s important to know what teachers will look for in Kindergarten readiness.
Parents are invited to join us for Kindergarten admission screening on Wednesday, April 3, from 8:30-11:30 a.m., in the Lower School Gym.
