The Elms Welcomes Alexis Wisniewski as New Upper School Counselor

Alexis Wisniewski, M.Ed., L.P.S.C., has joined the Our Lady of the Elms School community as the new Upper School Counselor, serving students in grades 6-12. In this role, Alexis will oversee both college guidance and student support, helping to guide students academically, socially, and emotionally.

Alexis earned her Master of Education in Mental Health and School Counseling from Bowling Green State University, graduating from a CACREP-accredited program. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Bowling Green State University. Alexis is well-prepared to support students through their academic and personal growth.

Before joining the Elms community, Alexis worked in Toledo as a K-12 School Counselor at Gesu Catholic Elementary, where she supported students from kindergarten through high school. There, she focused on academic advising, social-emotional development, and college readiness. Alexis has also worked at Toledo School for the Arts, where she provided guidance to middle and high school students on social-emotional issues, academic progress, and college preparation.

Alexis Wisniewski shared, “Being a school counselor allows me to help and be a part of something that makes a safer, healthier, happier future.”
