Pre-School & Pre-K

Our Approach to Learning

unnamed (6).png

At the Elms, your child will be encouraged to learn and develop at a pace that matches her/his learning style and personality. Our unique curriculum offers an integrated approach to Mathematics, Reading and Language Arts, Science, Social Studies, Technology, Health and Wellness, Religion and the Fine Arts. Our curriculum aligns jointly with the State of Ohio Early Learning Developmental Standards and the Diocese of Cleveland Curriculum. The Elms faculty regularly assess our students to help guide each child’s learning experience.

Faculty

All Elms faculty members hold a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood, Elementary Education or a related specialty. Our teachers are highly knowledgeable, experienced and loving. We understand that young children need flexibility and structure, through planned experiences as well as spontaneous play.

Acceptance Into Pre-School

All students, girls and boys, seeking admission into Pre-School and Pre-Kindergarten must be at least 3 years old and potty trained to start at the Elms.

Pre-School Enrollment Process
